My mother passed away in 2017 and as of 2023 I still have not received the benefits for her life insurance. All information has been turned over and they don't respond? I have been notified the funds will be turned over to the state. Main issue is in 2017 I received funds from a different life policy from my mother's passing but not the other? Help line is worthless, and complaint line does not help! Stay away, it's not your parents insurance company from back in the day!

I can never view my accounts online unless I go through hoops and hurdles. It must be the worst designed website ever.

Hours waiting on the phone to speak to someone at the PRU. Incorrect information on their website and instructions ie applying. i did a bit of digging and the PRU are under investigation from the regulator about breaking the rules/law. Think I'll go with the other provider of NHS AVCs.

My late husband passed away 24 years ago and the Prudential paid me ,his widow, only the money he put in. We might as well have spent it. Disgraceful experience and I would not recommend anyone to use them. Noreen.

I have been trying to obtain a Cash Equivalent Transfer Value for my pensions at the behest of my Accountant, without success. It is difficult enough to find an email address to send the request to, or any connected complaints, but to get a reply from them is proving impossible. I would describe the organisation as dysfunctional. If anyone is considering taking out a pension with Prudential, I would urge them to think again; when you need to contact them you will be unable to.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have experienced consistent problems with Prudential. I have a savings policy with them and tried to change it to an online account. I accessed their website to register for online services but couldn't find any facility to do this. After numerous phone calls, being put on hold for 45 mins, I was told there is no online facility for my type of policy as an older policy. Consequently I submitted a formal complaint. Since then I have tried to obtain a withdrawal form to transfer money from my Pru policy to my bank as I wish to buy another car. I phoned on the 5th June to order a form nothing arrived, phoned again on the 7th June was advised it will be sent next week. Nothing was sent, I phoned the Pru on the 14th June and was told that withdrawal forms were sent out on the 10th June and if paperwork hadn't arrived that day to call on following Monday. Phoned following Monday 17th, still no forms.Asked for e mail to be sent and asked for priority processing. Was informed that they couldn't send e mails, I responded why not. Eventually I was sent an encrypted e mail which had the withdrawal form on it. I filled out the form and I D requirements. I was also informed that it could be processed within 48 hrs as car could only be held until end of month. The form and requirements which was printed out was sent by registered post on the 20th June, and was scanned on Friday 21st June. Phoned Prudential on the 24th June Spoke to Logan who confirmed that docs had been scanned but would now rake 20 days to process, and had been changed from 16days. I asked why, he replied that because of system changeover. I asked him what would be the timescale for a priority processing upon which he replied it would now be 5 working days but he would try to reduce it. He informed me he would phone me back the following day on progress but I never received any call. I phoned Pru on Tuesday 25th and spoke to Busayo, informed her of situation, received apologies but informed her now I had lost the car as it couldn't be held any longer. I now have to wait until Friday 28th, and I have now put in a formal complaint. I consider that Prudential are a company that does not honour and respect its customers or treat them in a fair and ethical way. I would warn any future investors not to invest with them and find other companies more reputable. All in all a really terrible service, and really disappointed, Yours Sincerely Mr Kenneth Driscoll

Nothing works on their website. Customer service, if you can reach them, is the worst. Stuck with these guys because of the State of NJ

I would give zero if allowed. Their phone support for my retirement plan has been trash since the beginning of my journey over 6 months ago. I have done every loop and circle they asked. Like a well trained puppet. Just to be told of magic policies I am supposed to just know apparently. It’s been almost 7 months. Give me my money.

One of the worst companies in the world. They are out there to deny claims and maximize their profits. When denying claims, they will use incompetent employees without medical training and not a shred of humanity or empathy left in them. Then they will bombard you with half a dozen letters per week demanding the most ridiculous forms to be filled just to push you to desperation.

Nicole Joy is a VILE human being who may God deal with her corrupt soul. Her and her team waste the time of sick, disabled people and make these vulnerable people more sick until they deny your claim with ridiculous requests pestering the patient and the doctor. Why they have Nicole Joy with a business degree assessing those with disabilities and no one on her team with an actual medical degree and just a nurse is not just morally corrupt, but strains the lives of those who are sick and trying to get better. There was nothing Joyful aout Nicole "Joy" and Prudential needs to hire an actual physician to access patient disabilities if they are going to have someone with a business, nursing, or any other degree besides a medical degree make determinations that are mountainously above their qualifications. Absolutlely despicable system.

Been 8 months and still trying to name changes to policy. If you don't having dealings with them already run and fast as you can to another company. Incompetence at its finest.

If I could have given a zero I would have. I had to take a medical leave from work, and Prudential handled the short term disability for my company. I was off for 8 weeks and didn’t receive not one payment till a week before I returned to work. It was the most awful experience ever. Not only was I trying to recover from a surgery I had to stress about how I was going to pay my bills and take care of my kids. Everything was handled so poorly. I genuinely hope I never have to go through this again.

I have now received a letter from the Prudential stating that my retirement date has been moved from May 2024 to May 2034!!! - what the hell is this Company doing????. Clearly not looked at my records of trying to speak to them on several occasions without any result. They are a complete joke as a Company!. AVOID THIS COMPANY at all cost if you do not want to be driven mad by their lack of customer service. Anyone know a good lawyer????

DO NOT TRUST PRUDENTIAL FINANCIAL COMPANY PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU HAND YOUR MONEY THAT YOU SWEAT FOR IT TO THEM My wife passed July 2018 ( 6 years ago ) and had 401 K with 2 different financial company . As her husband I had notarized documents being in title to get her retirement money FOR MY KIDS. First company with no problem released money to my kids , BUT Prudential try so hard to keep this money and took me 3 years and finally they asked court letter , I asked my son to fallow up and get it from court and Prudential always find something to reject , meanwhile every time in court would cost $200 and few month to send documents by USPS . I was just tired of them using my dead wife's money and make more money of it when my kids needed this money the most . My son finally got the letter from court and now they say 401 money now is handed to Empower which we have to start from scratch . I'M HOPING THERE WILL BE CLASS SUE AGAINTS THEM AND THEY LOOSE ALL THESE MONEY THAT PEOPLE WORKED HARD FOR YEARS .

If I could give Prudential zero stars I would. Living needs benefit is a joke. Apparently having your oncologist say you have already outlived your life expectancy and have a huge tumor in your brain does not count as terminal. Please learn what exactly glioblastoma is. Lousy company.

Very frustrated with this company. April 25 I filed for short-term disability, it’s now May 26 and I’m still not approved. They had all of my paperwork By May 3. May 17 They were supposed to contact my employer for information and never did. As of right now, they still not contacting my employer. I’m out of work Due to surgery. This company is horrible, Anytime I call no one knows what’s going on and they don’t speak no English. Every time I call him and hold 45 minutes or more.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!! No one knows how to read nor do they know how to return your call. Every time I CALL THEM, I am told a case manager will call me back - one month and 2 days later . . . I am still waiting on a call. I have now been on a call for 48 minutes and 25 seconds (and COUNTING) with no speaking to a case manager, no resolution and also the rep MINDY put me on hold 30 mins ago and has YET to come back on the line. I requested her supervisor, she put me on hold and now 30 minutes later . . . STILL ON HOLD!!! This company is a DISGRACE!!! Any employer that uses them, clearly does not care about their employees. We are just looking for approval for FMLA for dr's appointments for our 2 yr old who needs a lot of evalutions.
