I had the worst experience with a Pruco self IRA there fees to open and close are excessive $400 to onen an account and $200 to close as well as horrible customer service

Wanted to cash out and told to send doc in using their portal which refuses to work. They refuse to answer In timely fashion . Don't return calls .

Prudential Services deserves a zero rating due to their poor quality of service delivery and policies that primarily benefits Prudential. Prudential is the only one that receives any compensation and financial gain, the customers always lose at Prudential Services. DO NOT use any Prudential Services!!!

I am the executor of a friend's will, I have had nothing but trouble trying to get the family their money from Prudential. As mentioned below, they send out the forms repeatedly but nothing gets done. I have been on hold for 1.5 hours trying to speak to someone in the death benefits department. Can a company get any worse, giving a grieving family a run around and endless hours of being on hold to speak to a representative is appalling. Think twice before you select them for a life insurance, they will not treat your family with any level of respect and your loved ones may never get the benefit of the financial security you planned and paid for. Look for a company that will treat your family with respect and expeditiously get them the money they need to move forward after your death.

Your typical low level US insurance company. When I withdrew my 401k account because I left the US after five years working there, the made a mistake and reported a different number of the withholding amount than they printed on the 1042-S tax form. Meaning I went through huge trouble with the IRS and I could not get my refund over $32k!!! So I called Prudential tax services LLC 6 times, waiting on lines for hours and it is still not resolved! No idea if I will get my money ever again!

I have a need to speak to a REAL person about a possible hacking of my account. there is no on-line chat option, no option to contact by email, just the phone number of the prudential help line. When i first called, the estimated wait time was 4 minutes. i have now been on hold for an hour and a half. this is important to me and i have concerns, but prudential i assume is trying to tire me out on hold so i'll give up. i'm tempted to just cash out my policy.

I decided to cancel a policy I had since 1987.i called my agent mary Sloan to cancel it. She never told me I could not get the dividends. If I canceled it before the do . Pretty lousy. After being with paying them for 37 year they got there money ever year

Want to warn anyone of ever considering this company. They only want your money and they will do anything in their power to stall or never pay on claims. They have the worst reputation. My Mother died 3 months ago, and they still have not sent any check from her Life insurance. In fact, they just keep sending out claims forms (same ones) over and over. You call them and after holding for hours each time, they just send out more forms. Meanwhile they are making interest of of people who have died with no regard to the beneficiaries. They are in my eyes crooked and deceitful. I have reported them to the State AG and and am getting a lawyer.

Prudential seems to do everything they can to keep from taking care of their customers. I had a major health issue and had to be out of work for several months. I worked closely with my doctors and had to submit paperwork multiple times. Prudential would wait until the day after a deadline and say there was an error and send it back or approve it well after the timeline they informed me. They cost my family to lose multiple paychecks while drowning in healthcare costs. I ended up having to pick between bills and food or healthcare expenses. Prudential prolonged my time unable to work. Prudential did nothing but add stress to an already stressful chapter of life. If you have any options at all, find a company other than Prudential to work with! If the medical issues don't make you feel hopeless, Prudential will for sure make you feel hopeless.

Horrendous website, trying to withdraw money is utterly impossible, just keeps going round in circles. Prudential have the worst ever customer service, truly terrible. I'll now have to phone them which from previous experience is also terrible

Came to look at reviews before I wrote one. If I was this company and saw how many 1 stars I got I would try to really figure out where the heck this company is going wrong smh Been trying to get my early annuity money early, it took almost 2 months. I would call and talk to a different person every time and they would say I’m not approved and I would literally have to spell it out to them to look hard there are notes in there saying I am, and they are like oh ya I see that now, should be any day. I had to call them about 10 times. No communication. Also I told them verbally direct deposit and I marked it on their paper and guess what, it’s being mailed. Do these people even know how to read? I feel like they hired anyone and never trained them

Rang prudential,had my options packs,and tried to get my pension ,but instead got from one department to the next and still no joy of getting hands on my pension.they send you threw different hoops,all I want is my pension to start paying out.

STAY WELL AWAY 😡😡😡 I’ve been trying to access my funds since before May I’ve constantly been told it will be paid by the end of each week it’s the same every week I’ve been on hold for hours at a time and promised a call back which never materializes. Countless emails and phone calls names logged times logged finally after months I’m told they made an error and new forms would be sent out by Thursday and the money will be in you account within three days ‘Thank God’ Guess what - 🤷‍♂️ Nothing 38 years of work and paying into Pru my planned holiday aboard is tomorrow and I’m canceling. I’m now looking to take Pru to court I’m at my wits end I’m sick with stress.

I do not have good experience with prudential. I just found out that my children medical insurance has doubled in 2 years. From 518 per kid..it is now ranging from 888 to 952 each for my kids. I paid 1.5k n now almost 3k. What is the reason?

They were happy to take our money every month for 25 years but now when the endowment matured they have given us every excuse not to pay us back, now unable to pay off mortgage, They are thieves!!

I notified Prudential of my husband’s death 3 weeks sgo. I called to follow up on this 2 weeks later today ld it would take 16 to 20 business days. I received a form several days ago telling me i had to send death certificate. They told me to email which i did. Called today and was told they could not read it but i could fax it. I went to ups store and faxed it. I did a follow up call and they received it but will take another 15 to 20 business days. I have never dealt with a company that has such poor customer service. It is bad enough to deal with my husband’s death Without having to deal with incompetent customer service. I have also had dealings with switching over his annuities to my name. I was told that was going to take weeks. I need the money to live and these people don't give a damn.

I waited 16 days to get a response to an email request to remove money from MY pension fund. I am now on 10th day and counting of waiting for the information pack that was supposed to arrive within 5working days. I have had a response to a complaint I made today to tell me it will take at least 4 weeks to investigate.
