Very disappointing experience – refund process is a mess I recently cancelled my insurance with QuoteMeHappy and clearly updated my bank details in my online account before requesting my refund. Despite this, they are now insisting on refunding the money (£768.46) to an old, inactive card that is no longer in use, claiming it’s due to “FCA regulations.” I gave clear instructions at the time of cancellation, asking for the refund to be sent either to my new bank account or by cheque. Instead of following those instructions, they replied with irrelevant excuses and ignored the fact that I had already updated my account with the correct details. At the end of the day, this is my money – and I should have the right to receive it in the account I choose, especially when I’ve provided all the necessary information. The lack of flexibility and poor customer service are unacceptable. If you value efficiency, communication, and control over your own finances, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
