Following a minor motorcar accident in February, I had an issue with RAC Insurance, and therefore wrote to the CEO, Dave Hobday, for his comment on poor service. I marked the envelope Private and Confidential - this was three weeks ago. I used the Royal Mail Signed For service, and therefore know that my letter was delivered, on 17 March. Now, nearly three weeks later, I have HEARD NOTHING - not even an acknowledgement. How rude is that! What a way to run a business. I have now written a personal letter to the Chairman of RAC Limited, Rob Templeman, and copied in the Director General of the Association of British Insurers.
