my daughter was a named driver on my policy and passed her test yesterday. This invalidated our entire policy. Even I am not insured to drive now. To add her as a full license holder was unaffordable (£3K) so said I would take her off whilst shopping around for best quotes. This was going to cost £77 (25 admin + 52 increase to my policy?!?!?!? how can one less driver increase the premium when there are no other changes?)
So I cancelled immediately.
Brilliant in-person customer service team. terrible, fleece merchant company.
