I was with co-op for nearly two years and then here is the reasons why I cancelled:
Engineer installs the black box and straight after my radio stops working. Called co-op and they said the engineer has denied he’s caused any faults but they say they will send someone out. In the end I fixed it myself and cancelled. Though I didn’t have the original code for the radio so had to pay Ford for it.
At the age of 25 I was paying £160 per month on an old 2006 KA. Not once despite having a high score did I receive a discount.
After one year the discount drops to £110 pound. Still expensive.
Then my black box suddenly stops working, after a few weeks co-op call me to ask if I have been driving which I confirmed. Because the box hadn’t been receiving any data my score was relatively low. I rang co-op to say can it be taken in to consideration that my box is faulty (confirmed by their engineering partner) and they said no. So I was now at the risk of being charged more money.
They are rude on the phone.
They charge £50 pound for any type of change on the insurance.
Please don’t waste your money or time with this company.
