The curfew is nuts. Was out driving until 11:10pm, just 10 minutes past the curfew and my 'dangerous times' score dropped from 5 to 1.
For my first 3 months I received a discount of around £25 per month, a whole £225 saving for the remainder of the year. My score was 5/5 at this point. Since then I have received no discount as co op only look for improvement on your previous score. My score has only dropped to 4/5, yet I'm still paying just shy of £2000 over the year for insurance. A company of money grabbers.
I'm coming up for renewal soon and am convinced that your scores plummet the closer you get to renewing. I looked at my review panel which is telling me I was braking too late, so I tested it. I began to brake at pretty much twice the distance I would usually, angering the many motorists behind me. After doing so for around a week, my braking score had remained the same.
I think it's safe to say I will not be renewing with co op. Regardless of the fact they seem cheaper at the start, I would spend the extra on a different insurance provider. You'll probably save money in the long run.
