We were referred to Chapter by a trusted financial advisor. I did not know what to expect. I am actually a physician, and have long considered my self at least moderately knowledgeable about Medicare. However, as I approached retirement, so much Medicare information seems to be boiler plate and unpersonalized and over.ly complex, forcing the reader to guess on decisions and struggle to stay focused on a stepwise orderly decision-making process. My Chapter advisor, Jaclyn, was truly superb. She as personal, profesional, unhurried, and completely engaged with my needs and questions. She started by listening and understanding what I knew and did not know. She then patiently and efficiently built out a strategy for decision-making, and walked me thought an efficient and objective comparison of plans and options that were individually customized both for me and also for my wife. She provided every piece of documentation and notes that I needed to remember what we did, and layed out a follow-up plan to complete my transition through retirement. I could not have been more pleased and sincerely appreciate her knowledge, skills, and sincere approach to meeting our needs, and not just pushing us to the easiest or most common path way. My anxiety about the process has been relieved. I am grateful. We saved almost $200/month compared to what I might have chosen on my own, and have better coverage in a broader network.
