My husband and I are extremely disappointed with our experience with Get Laid Beds. Initially we were so excited to find theses beds for our Airbnb project. They looked perfect in every way. I wish I could go back to that day and tell myself "Don't do it!!" This bed company has wasted our time, set back our launch date significantly, and not done anything remotely helpful. We let the company know about our situation before any problems had arisen by saying we needed the beds before June 1. This did not seem like it would be an issue as we ordered the beds in April. The date they were set to arrive was in May. I understand international shipping is totally wack with COVID. I'm actually not even that upset about the beds arriving late. It is the way that the company (we mostly spoke with Amy) handled the situation that is beyond frustrating. I'm 22 years old, I don't ask to speak with managers, I'm just a kid. Get Laid Beds will drive you to this point. There is no accountability. 5 out of 8 of our packages have been missing for a month. We were unable to put our Airbnb up without a bed frame so we bought different ones from IKEA. In one of our many calls to Get Laid Beds we were told that we could decide whether we wanted to wait indefinitely for the beds or receive a refund and do whatever we wanted with the packages that had arrived. We built one of the IKEA beds which is no small feat and decided we would take the refund. We let Amy know. A few days later Amy let us know that FEDEX was finally going to be sending the package because it was being canceled and they don't like to do returns. A few days later the beds were at our house and now we are being told that we can not get a refund until all of the packages have been returned to Get Laid. To recap, we asked for the refund we were told we could have, Amy went to cancel the order, and because of this FEDEX made the delivery go through, now the refund is somehow unavailable until the packages arrive back to England (I'm sure it's much quicker going the other way). Nothing changed on our end yet decisions were made for us in the company's best interest rather than ours.The whole situation is maddening and so out of our control. As I mentioned before, I am a kid and $1,300 means a lot to me. I have no problem sending back the packages but to be denied the refund that we were promised is so frustrating. I would not be surprised if the beds took another two months to get back so we won't see our money until the fall?! Speaking on the phone with Amy today was like talking to a wall. Suddenly there was nothing that could be done for us until we send the beds back. They blame FEDEX for the whole debacle (meanwhile FEDEX who we spent hours on the phone with blames Get Laid Beds). We paid $1,300 to be absolutely shafted by Get Laid Beds. I'm sure if you are not on a deadline and you don't mind not hearing anything from the company when a problem comes up you will be able to enjoy their fine craftsmanship.
