I'm rating this bed as a 4. We assembled the bed ourselves which was relatively simple if we'd thrown out the instructions to start with. Some of the parts are labelled by hand, so poorly written we couldn't read the letters that link to the instructions, so we just worked it out for ourselves. Good quality bed though, solid wood, very strong and comfortable so we are happy with it.
