Good quality pine. Took a bit longer to assemble but everything solid although at the moment it’s a bit creaky. Headboard was tricky to ensure it was square and symmetrical, pre-drilling a notch in the headboard boards would have helped line the top one up. Also a couple of spacers for the slats would have been helpful.
