GIE sounds a lot like GIA but it isn't. I tried to buy "GIE" taafeite and emerald from a shop on etsy (Jaipur, India) and I got a unidentified stone as a taafeite and a resin filled cheap grade bottom barrel emerald.
Fraud, purely and simply fraud.
