I purchased a ring from GLAMIRA that was marketed as having an authentic opal. There was no disclosure of the fact that the stone was enhanced or treated in any way. Within months, the stone discolored—even though I cared for it meticulously and avoided exposure to water, lotions, and chemicals. GLAMIRA previously replaced the stone due to a defect, which they confirmed in writing. Now, they are denying that fact, refusing to honor their warranty, and attempting to blame me for the issue. I also received a written admission from their General Manager, Paula Carillo, that the stone is enhanced—completely contradicting the original certificate and marketing. She went so far as to threaten to destroy my ring if I sent it back for another warranty claim. This company has: Misrepresented the product Violated their warranty policy Threatened destruction of customer property Dismissed and gaslit me throughout the process Avoid this company at all costs. If something goes wrong, they will not stand behind their product—and may even threaten you instead.
