Global are excellent knives, I've been using them for decades. I've used several other brands, started with Zwilling Henckels, then Wusthof and others. Preferred the handle on Global knives after purchasing just one. They're comfortable to hold and virtually non-slip, important because I keep them sharp with Global's handheld 2 stage knife sharpener, it's easy and convenient to use, another I highly recommend.
