“I am a fan of global kinves for ther minimalism, sharp edge and nimbleness. This one delivers! I have a G-2 that I love and use daily but this makes for just an ever so slightly easier rock chop which I like to do sometimes. A great addition to my collection!”

“Never had a new quality kitchen knife before this. Slicing through a raw pork tenderloin, slicing lemons, anything I cut on, it goes through it like butter! Very happy!”

“I have long been a Global Cutlery fan and recently acquired the 40th Anniversary kiritsuke. At 7", the blade is an ideal length for most applications, and the blade height and edge are perfect for push cut precision chopping. As with all Global knives, the handle design is exceptional and provides perfect balance and fit for a variety of hand sizes. Highly recommended.”

“I've heard good things about Global knives so I decided to give one a try. I must say, this is a wonderful knife. I have other high quality knives, but none come close to being this sharp. I was amazed when I first started slicing vegetables. There was virtually no resistance. Is this what a knife is supposed to be like, I wondered?”

“I didn’t realize Anthony Bourdain was all about Global. Until after I purchased my first Global knife. I am officially a Global snob! They are my favorite knifes. I have five or six of them, I just got the new honing rod and Global rocks!!!”

“Good prices, products and prompt shipping. However, the item was shipped in a box much larger than necessary and without proper packing material creating damage to the global cheese knife box making it ungiftable. Fortunately, the product did not appear damaged.”

“Knives are OK. Not great but not bad. Recently ordered 7" fluted. Next day saw exact same thing on Costco.com for $15 less. Sent them the link and asked for a price adjustment. “Global Cutlery is exceptional. The cost isn’t bad. The value is excellent. Every piece is perfection. The blades hold their edge. They are easy to clean. The handle is nice because it won’t slip in your hand while working with wet items. I love all the pieces I’ve bought. Even the vegetable peeler.”
