Hi Taylor. Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like the knife may have been exposed to moisture during storage, which can lead to rust if not dried and stored properly. “First new knife in almost 20 years. Been a Zwilling German steel user but couldn’t ever get the knife as sharp as I wanted. This knife with the no hand bolster thing allows me better grip and control. The knife is very sharp to start and I hope to learn to use my whetstone better now!
