“Good prices, products and prompt shipping. However, the item was shipped in a box much larger than necessary and without proper packing material creating damage to the global cheese knife box making it ungiftable. Fortunately, the product did not appear damaged.”

“I have 3 pieces of Global Sai cutlery and love each one with the 9" bread knife being the most recently acquired. I have been trying to order this bread knife for 1-2 years being told it wasn't available. I put this knife on a Global watchlist and was pleasantly surprised when I was contacted by Global as to it's availability. I was very happy to purchase it as soon as I was notified. What I'm not happy about is paying $189.95 for this knife and finding out less than a month after receiving it that it was now on sale for $151.96. Global must have know about this sale being forthcoming and wish they would have offered it to me at the sale price.”

“I have used a set of 3 Global knives for many years and wanted to get a set with the smart knife block. Got the 6 piece Global Ukon set. Love the black and steel knife block but the knives themselves feel light and unsubstantial to use. The small serrated knife arrived a little bent at the tip. After handwashing the water marks need buffing. Was looking forward to having these in my new kitchen and while they are sharp etc. there is some quality missing.”

“So far the knives are very nice. Takes a little getting used to the the shape of the handle but not an issue once you do. Very sharp but have not used long enough to judge how long the retain edge. Only issue with ordering directly from global vs a retailer is returns are expensive. Must be sure you are ordering correctly. Ordered some as a gift and had to return when I found out he did not want a knife block set. Although I ordered additional individual knives for him, the return cost of the set was $50. Otherwise customer service was responsive and pretty quick with refund. FedEx is not good with delivery in our rural area. FedEx kept changing delivery date and twice claimed poor weather prevented delivery. There was no inclement either day. UPS has been much more reliable.”
