Small is more of a medium, I am using it for 5" utility knife, too large for a pairing knife. Medium fits 7" and 8" chefs knifes, and the large is too big for 8" chefs knife. Considering that they are global knife guards, it would be nice if they gave better dimensions or fit guide. Other than that, I like the design.
