“Over twenty years Global knives have been my favorite since reading Anthony Bourdain's 'Kitchen Confidential' where he praised Global for their perfectly balanced design and razor-sharp edge that holds up beautifully whether chopping vegetables or slicing proteins. Personally I love the look of the dimpled grip, with a modern look and a feel in the hand that remains secure. Easy to clean. Craftsmanship is second to none for the price point. Bourdain said you don't need a full block of kitchen knives to clutter your counter, but recommended having a couple quality tools and Global was his trusted brand. Enough said, RIP Tony.”

“These knives came highly recommended to us 20 years ago by a professional chef who was on a camping trip with us. At that time, we only purchased 2 knives to add to our collection of another brand that we had gotten as a wedding gift, which were only 5 years old at that time. The 2 Global knives, however, quickly became the favorites to use in the kitchen. We just recently felt the need to replace our "other brand" knives, so we decided to go with all Global Brand. Love the quality and feel of the knives.”

“Terrible customer service experience on my end. Received the knife, it looked great and I took it out to try it. Started to cut a tomato and noticed it catching a bit . When examining it closer, I realized the blade was chipped. Reached out to customer service, who then told me I was out of luck, because the knife was now used. I replied saying I had literally just taken it out of the packaging and noticed a defect on first use (this was within a couple of days of receiving it). They have since just ghosted me..”

“Disappointed that the boning knife I received looks completely different than the product pics. If I got a knife that looked like this from Amazon, I would have assumed it was a fake and returned it. Did I get some factory seconds? It just seems odd.”

“Unbelievable feel and sharpness. I was always a but reluctant to try the Global (It looked like the handle may be slippery) and I was pleasantly surprised not only did it have good grip, but the feel of the knife helps me cut confidently and with slightly better pace. Even though it is extremely sharp it feels safe in the hand.”

“Well I’ve used the knife twice and it cut like a cakewalk, but…! After the second time of handwashing it and drying with a towel, it has already began to rust! My Shun knives I’ve had for more than 10 years have never rusted…”

“First new knife in almost 20 years. Been a Zwilling German steel user but couldn’t ever get the knife as sharp as I wanted. This knife with the no hand bolster thing allows me better grip and control. The knife is very sharp to start and I hope to learn to use my whetstone better now! I also appreciate the feel in my hand. More balance and much lighter”
