The course instructor was very knowledgeable and down to earth.
Working from home is a sudden and unplanned work situation that we find ourselves in. We went into it without a lot of tools or understanding of how to make it work. As such it is a brand new process for us and like starting anything new, it takes a lot of extra work to make it work.
He laid out the expectations of managing remote teams. With the move to working and managing people remotely during the COVID19 Pandemic I have just been concentrating on getting through each day as best as possible. But I think I need to sit back and if I do all the right steps, a lot of stress will disappear.
I realized that everything you should do in person is exactly what you should do in the isolation/remote working that we find ourselves in now.
