I attended the Guerrilla.NET course between June 20th - 24th, 2016 in London. I had a very disappointing experience given the stellar reviews of the course attendees had provided (people who had attended about a year earlier).
Lab infrastructure was very poorly organised. We spent the first three days of the five day course without doing any lab-work:
- Laptop logins wouldn't work
- Windows copy on the laptops were not genuine which is very surprising.
- Virtual machines for the lab weren't setup correctly. The attendees did most of the troubleshooting themselves and got them working eventually on the third day.
- There were no plans for how to get the lab materials onto the virtual machines.
The course material itself was disappointingly basic. The outline made it out to be a "deep dive" into certain areas but was barely even an introduction. A lot of the course seemed to have been a plug from the "Getting Started" sections of the individual technologies.
