Booked same-day pick up around 1pm and was told the window was 8am-8pm. This was fine as I did not have plans until a little bit later. 8:15pm rolls around so I call. Wait on hold for a while and am told they are unable to reach the contractor and they could reschedule for tomorrow. I said I would need a small discount all things considered. This could have been $1 - just something to show they were willing to make up for not holding up their end of the bargain. Unfortunately the rep blamed the independent contractor (not their fault, was clearly a script).
Ultimately if this company is going to promise a service, they should perform it as agreed or accept full responsibility when they cannot.
