The value for my Macbook was larger than what the Apple store was willing to offer. The process with Go Roostr was very easy and convenient. They do provide instructions on how to obtain the serial number, but I did have to look online for specific specifications which was not at all hard to do. I recommended Go Roostr to my husband for his Mac mini and he was satisfied with it as well.
