Buyer Beware!
I recently faced an incredibly frustrating situation with GOAT that left me so upset. Somehow, my order was duplicated in error, which was not my fault. When I requested a refund to my Mastercard, I was informed that it wasn't possible because the seller had already confirmed the order—despite us catching the mistake within a three-hour window. This policy is not fair because it does not give the consumer the opportunity to resolve anything within the three-hour window; the seller should allow the three-hour window to pass before fulfilling an order. I can't begin to express the headache I’ve experienced due to the charges from the duplicate order. To make matters worse, I received this message: “Once we process your return, we will refund the amount you paid for the items in GOAT Credit, less the shipping costs, the return processing fee, and any priority processing, if applicable.”
I did NOT want GOAT Credit! All I wanted was my full refund, including taxes, without any deductions for shipping or processing fees. This situation has caused me an immense amount of stress. I had been a loyal customer and had referred many friends and family to GOAT—but that won’t be happening anymore!
