I ordered two inexpensive, white cotton sarees with dark red borders to use as home decor. The sarees arrived in the US within two weeks and I received email notifications, so I'm satisfied with the shipping and handling. The sarees were in good condition when they arrived. However, when I washed them in cold water, the border color ran and it ran a lot. I now have two bright pink sarees with light red borders. Re-washing them with bleach did not help. The pink color is tenacious and spreads to anything you wash with the sarees. The weave is good and the fabric texture is nice, but the dye was really terrible. There is no way anyone could have washed these sarees except by dry cleaning and I do not think I should have to dry clean a simple, cotton saree.
