Sadly and unexpectedly the vet told us that our beautiful 13 year old dog didn’t have long to live and suggested that we think about euthanising her. We didn’t want her to be stressed or in pain, so decided that it would be more peaceful and dignified for Toto to organise to have this done at home. We decided to use Goodbye Good Boy because the words on their website really resonated with us – “a pet’s final days should not be the worst days of their life”. The entire experience with Goodbye Good Boy was exceptional – from first contact with James to Dr Courtney’s beautiful gentle manner to having Toto’s ashes returned to us. They were compassionate and professional and made an incredibly sad time more bearable. Dr Courtney was in no rush and made sure that Toto was entirely comfortable with her before the process began. When the time came Toto passed peacefully, on the lounge, with us around her. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful way for her to go. Thank you to all – your kindness is very much appreciated.
