I ordered two flavours of Turkish delight, one of which was replaced with a different flavour due to it being out of stock, but I wasn’t contacted or asked whether I would prefer a replacement or a refund, and when I emailed to say that it would completely go to waste as no one I know likes the flavour, it was met with the email equivalent of a shrug.
