My wife had got me an excellent Australian beer (ale) hamper which I truly loved and based on this experience and quality, I decided to purchase a hamper for my boss as a parting gift. The hamper (International Beers Hamper) itself was great and she too loved it, however it wasn't delivered to her home in Neutral Bay (although she was at home). While I understand that the delivery by large extent is outside Gourmet Basket's control, it is also a very important part of the experience and I was disappointed by the fact that she had to go to Neutral Bay post office to pick it. I'll definitely refer it to a friend as I really like the selection, quality and the packaging of the product itself, but I shall recommend that there be an improvement in the last mile delivery expereince.
