The belt accomplished one of my goals, which was to find a flat closure that didn't add a bulge to my waist. It appears to be extremely durable and will last a long time. It also stays in place without a traditional buckle. The one thing I don't like is that it takes a little longer to fasten than the standard buckle because it's so stiff. I'm hoping that over time this will change. I also bought a bigger belt than I need so that it will fit pants that sit lower down on my hips. This results in a long "tail" when I use it on pants that fasten at the waist. This longer tail is a bit unwieldly.
