I purchased (and later returned) the Grip6 wallet. Shipping was quick, and the packaging was nice. The wallet itself seemed to be durable. The leather sleeve appeared to be hand made. The stitching was a bit uneven, but the thread was substantial. The card pockets had their ends punched -- which is good -- but the slit cut between the punched holes didn't connect. I was able to fix this with a utility knife. The metal and plastic card holder feels robust. I was disappointed to see the finger loop and lever is plastic. I was hoping for CNC machined aluminum. Overall, the mechanism felt pretty good. I tried inserting my cards and one of them was immediately damaged. The Grip6 handles commercially-produced credit cards just fine, but if you have any laminated cards then they will be instantly destroyed by this mechanism. The overall size of this wallet is extremely bulky, despite being marketed as a minimalist option. I have been carrying a Ridge wallet for the last couple years and after returning the Grip6 I've gone back to the Ridge -- it's substantially smaller. To the credit of Grip6, when I reached out to customer service and asked to return the wallet, they were quick to provide a prepaid return shipping label. Overall, Grip6 seems like a good company that takes care of their customers; this wallet simply wasn't the right fit for me.
