Quality material and comfortable. However, in my case, I wear boots with 12 and 13 inch shaft. The socks do not come over my calf muscle to lock in or to be strong to hold in place as do GI issued socks. During the day the sock gets pulled down into the boot causing chaff on my leg. I have sent away for men's sock garter hopefully to correct this and save me from constantly having to continually stop and pull the sock up.
