My foot measures 11 and 1/2 inches from the heel placed at the wall to the tip of the big toe. The width measured from outside edge of the ball of the foot to outside edge of the base of the little toe is 4 and 1/2 inches. The sox are clearly of high quality. However, they are too tight. If I sit for 1/2 hour my feet are being strangled. My wife washes all our laundry in cold water in a front loading washing machine. They are air dried on a rack; never in the dyer. So they should not have shrunk. They are the micro crew midweight in size XL. I can gather a soc on my thumbs and forcefully pull it apart. There are no threads popping. Very durable. The bottom line is you need to make part of your soc line bigger. I think it would be a selling point. I also wear Darn Tuf and Smart Wool socs. Some of them are tight as well.
