I bought one of the belts. The simplicity of the design means that it's probably never going to break, unlike some other buckle designs I've purchased. But honesty compels me to say that it's taking some getting used to. It's not as easy as the videos make it look. If you have any significant tension on the belt, it's not that easy to lift the buckle up as far as needed in order to release it. It takes some effort. That's the only drawback I've experienced so far after a couple weeks. I left this new belt behind when I went on vacation last week because I didn't want to have to deal with the potential aggravation of operating it. So I'll wear it more regularly for a while longer to see if it's just a matter of getting used to it. I can say it will not slip or loosen once it's in place. It holds very securely.
