Wasn't sure what to think about the design before purchasing, but it works exactly as advertised. Holds tight and doesn't slip even under cyclic load. Also there's no guessing where your normal position is. It naturally puts a crease in the webbing where the buckle rests and there's tactile feedback when it slides in place.
