Initially when I got the belt I wasn’t very clear on how to tighten it fully and it seemed to fit loose. However, after trying it several times I’m able to get it to the tightness I prefer. Therefore I am pleased with the purchase. I am considering whether to get a brown one to go along with the one I have as I like the low profile buckle
