I would like to make a point as to why I am giving groomers world three stars ......
I am an owner of a growing salon.
I discovered groomers world a year or so ago and was a little dubious of their products having never heard of them. I reached out to other groomers in the area via a group chat we are kindly apart of, and most also had not heard about them. Despite this I was in need of a few products and didn’t see an issue giving a new company a try, there products that I ordered seemed good enough , maybe sometimes lacking in the finishing touches that christies and other places seem to add to the orders, non the less it was good enough for me and I know how important it is to use the smaller companies over the bigger more well known ones.
We started Building a decent working relationship over the past year with me mostly dealing with the same sales rep Stuart for the past few orders at least. However, ........
I am sorry to say that I was left very disappointed in groomers world as a company recently, I had ordered a Stand dryer from them, in a bundle and the product had a major fault that meant it didn’t appear to be working correctly. I asked for a replacement, groomers world were helpful and sent a replacement quickly. it was upon trying to use the replacement product that I realised that the dryer was in fact a bad product and lacked power and heat ( both pretty important things for a groomers stand dryer) I contacted groomers world within 24 hours of opening the product to let them know it’s a product not fit for purpose and I would like a refund! I was met with a very generic response to let me know that they do not accept returns if they have been used I explained I didn’t know it was not a good product until I tried to use it and that it’s not fit for purpose, not that I had simply changed my mind, I even suggested that if they had a better product that could replace it I would be will ng to pay the difference!! Groomers world said they will accept the return should the dryer be in pristine condition, and I would have to pay a £15 restoking fee. as I have said I use this business a lot and unfortunately I feel very soured by the company not taking on the cost due to them having a product not fit for purpose I will probably try a different company before shopping here now to guarantee a better service which is a real shame !
