I purchased tickets through Groupon and realized right away I was going to be gone that day. Even though I thought Illinois gave you 24 hours to change your mind on purchases, they would not let me transfer them to the person who was going with me, denied me a refund, and even a credit was to much for them. Their “customer service” is a robot who just repeats the same thing over and over. I will never use Groupon again, this was my first time. It saddens me to see these tickets go to waste, as I have requested that they do not resell them. I’m a subscriber to Broadway in Chicago and purchase my concert tickets from Live Nation, who does business with Groupon. Be very weary of good deals, and read the fine print. Broadway in Chicago have always bent over backwards to give me a good experience. You would think that Groupon would want to do the same as many of these venues are just reopening. Every time you turn around in this country, some is trying to take your money. Stay away from this company.
