Had a purchase/refund issue w/ Groupon. Their 'online customer service was unresponsive to my concern. I went to their chatline to speak to a LIVE person, but was repeatedly referred to something called Ask-Crew. They charged me $1 up front (allegedly refundable), but then immediately charged me another $38 for a month of their continuing 'service', which I didn't want in the first place!!! The Ask-Crew rep could do nothing but provide links back to Groupon, (going around in circles). Feh!

Be aware of unidentified fee: It is with per disgust that I am writing this – I never used Groupon before so decided to for Cornucopia cruise tickets. It indicates an admin fee but no amount or % so thought within reason to only find out- after buying the tickets that the admin fee was $105+ an outrageous price -the price of another ticket. I have the tickets and couldn’t use or complete booking until the admin fee was shocking. Spoke with Groupon on several occasion to correct or justify and nothing but “sorry” nothing we can do. Spoke with other and never experienced such – SO BE AWARE if admin fee and not disclosed. I will never use Groupon again because of this and the terrible feeling of being ripped off. Watch out for ridiculous fee that shouldn’t be applied

Impossible to find support on the website, nobody cares about your query. Platform is designed to sell you a product, get your money & move on to the next purchase. If you have an issue there is ZERO support to be found. Ironically, Groupon Platform allows to to change bank payments & address with just a click but when it comes to changing email, you are stuck on additional verification when you can access the old email, and support is nowhere to be found. I won't buy anything from Groupon in fact looking at closing my account and move on to a competitor.

Never received a credit on my credit card for an order that I CANCELLED. I have a printout from your company saying it would take 3-5 days to be reflected on my statement but it NEVER was credited. I can't talk to a real human being about this matter. I have been waiting for a credit since May 28, 2025. How will you help me?

I purchased a Groupon for 4 movie tickets and snacks at AMC theater. The cost of the Groupon was $66. When I went to redeem the vouchers and upon checkout I was charged an additional $35 by the theater. That is over $100 for movie tickets for four, two popcorns and two drinks! This is more than I would have paid full retail! I contacted Groupon and was told there was nothing they could do. I wasn’t even able to use my Groupon bucks credit that I had. Beware! I will never do business with Groupon ever again!

I bought a Groupon for a haircut and style. I went to merchant, got the service, pulled up the Groupon code and hit "redeem". It marked the code redeemed and the merchant could not longer use the code so I had to pay her separately. I contacted Groupon immediately and explained - they even have a "help" category for this issue so obviously I'm not the only one who has made this mistake. The agent saud they woukd get back to me in a few days. I got a reply they woukd only issue me Groupon "bucks" since it was past 3 days when I bought the Groupon (it was 6 days and obviously this is a problem on their part with redeeming their coupons). They refuse to refund my purchase to my debit card, they have never issued the Groupon "bucks" and i had to pay the merchant separately.

On 10/14 I purchased 2 tickets from Groupon for the spartan race in Central Florida for 12/7/24. After purchasing the tickets the online registration was not working, I tried calling and they do not have a working number so I emailed them. After 24 hours of silence I messaged them on Facebook and managed to get a response and after 2 hours of messaging they could not figure out the issue and promised to email me with a resolution. That resolution never came so day 3 now I am messaging them again and they are going in circles with the same trouble shooting from the day before. Eventually I give up because they stop responding and try to return the tickets on Groupon which promised a 3 day refund guarantee. Groupon which also doesn’t have a working day phone number says they have to reach out to Spartan race because these tickets are now not refundable per their policy even though they advertise there is and they reply an hour later that Spartan race verified their registration IS WORKING, I try again and it is of course not working. I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will be filing a claim with the court if need be.

Vouchers incentive to make a purchase. My experience DO NOT DO IT !!!! Made the purchase for AA breakdown cover Surprise - NO VOUCHERS. !!!!!!!! Check the various sites for groupon reviews - makes great reading all 0-1 star with tales of misery !!!!!!!

Groupon have double booked several of my orders, they refunded some only to groupon bucks now are refusing others unless i can prove i did not use the,. it has taken me months to try and sort this but getting no where they can see vouchers were not redeemed we contacted them before date of event. yvonne

They sell boat tour tickets without tour date confirmation. If tour dates are not available in a short term or don't work for you, they don't refund.

I engaged in disputes with their agents regarding my withdrawal, which lasted for months due to persistent delays in resolving the issue. Out of the blue, my account got locked without a proper explanation. Thankfully, upon filing a formal complaint with M A D A C O V I . C O, they managed to recover my funds just when things appeared hopeless.

Groupon practices deceptive, deceitful, and fraudulent business. They sell vouchers for, as of July 2024,Open Chair Barbershop which has not done business with Groupon since 2020. I have bought a voucher to used in Dubai as I am living outside, but unable be there in SEP24 as it mention expire, they are refusing to refund it and did not even offer extension. Bad customer service.
