I purchased a Groupon for 4 movie tickets and snacks at AMC theater. The cost of the Groupon was $66. When I went to redeem the vouchers and upon checkout I was charged an additional $35 by the theater. That is over $100 for movie tickets for four, two popcorns and two drinks! This is more than I would have paid full retail!
I contacted Groupon and was told there was nothing they could do. I wasn’t even able to use my Groupon bucks credit that I had.
Beware! I will never do business with Groupon ever again!
