I purchased a Groupon for a massage, then went to schedule it. The merchant was basically some lady doing massages just herself, and she had VERY restrictive hours that did not match my availability. I can't just up and leave work or my child so I went to Groupon support and asked for a refund. They stuck to their default answer and refused to work with me to give me a refund even though it was obviously nothing I did wrong. Then a couple days later, on a second massage groupon I had purchased, the merchant called me and canceled my appointment saying she wouldn't honor my groupon because I had been there years ago. YEARS ago. I didn't remember or I wouldn't have purchased it again. Groupon AGAIN refused to work with me. It was a simple human mistake.
