I purchased a nights stay back in Jan2020 for the 18th April for my mums birthday. With the on-going pandemic I fall under the high risk category so advised groupon I don't know when i will able to travel as atm im not even allowed to leave my house so I asked them for a full refund (as the hotel is closed as well). Groupon advised that if i get a confirmation from the hotel that i haven't used my stay I can have a full refund. I contacted the hotel and got something in writing to confirm it hadn't been used to which they advised they are happy for me to have a full refund. I forwarded this to Groupon and then didn't hear from them for a week. After I chased up my refund Groupon then advised that things have changed and i can have Groupon credits only. I have now been aruging with them for 2 weeks as they agreed my refund in monies then decided to change their mind. This is the first time I have used this company and I will definitely not be using them again.. There should be an option for 0 stars and 1 star is too generous.
