Hello I purchased part 176VG0390 a thermostat housing and sensor. To fit this it also requires an o ring but GSF don’t supply this with the housing. I had to order it from vw directly. The VW part is 03C-121-666. I believe other suppliers also include this o ring with the housing as without it all the new coolant used when filling up your engine will end up on the floor. I wondered if GSF will include this O ring in future.
