Ordered 4 service parts for my Citroen C4 from Letchworth shop.
I went to fit the air filter that same day and was too big. Went back to the shop, the wrong part was given to me, the assistant had read the part number wrong upon visiting the store room. I had a mechanic booked in for Saturday to change oil, upon draining found the wrong oil filter had been issued. This caused me no end of problems over the weekend and was without a vehicle until Monday which I was forced to take off work. I wouldn't have minded so much but it wasn't the website that gave the wrong part number, it was the member of staff simply fetched a completely different part number to what was on the order form.
On Monday a different member of staff apologised over the phone in a good sincere manner. But nothing in the way of refund or compensation was offered for my wasted weekend and fuel cost driving backwards and forwards from Stevenage to collect the right part. Luckily the mechanic was sympathetic to me and didn't charge me an extra call out charge.
