Placed an order for collection online but for some reason the 20% discount offered didn't apply to the final figure shown . I explained this to the staff member behind the counter who initially told me there was nothing he could do about it and that I could go home and place the order once again online. I explained I lived 40 miles away and this was not practical. Again he said there was nothing he could do.
Thankfully another member of staff overheard the conversation and applied some common sense and instructed the staff member I was speaking to to apply 20% trade discount. I imagine that you would prefer that your staff took this approach rather than the disappointing way I was initially dealt with.
