I went to collect my order from GSF Car Parts in Hemel Hempstead on 13/08 and was served by someone listed on the receipt as “WEB.”
The whole process of collecting an order took over half an hour. There was a queue of people, with only one staff member serving, who was extremely slow. What stood out most, however, was how rude and dismissive this person was — not just towards me, but to every customer ahead of me in the queue as well every customer in the shop was looking at eachother in dismay.
One example was a customer collecting an order and part of that wasn’t in stock. Which the employee had obviously substituted for similar without telling the customer. When the customer pointed out the difference, the staff member simply replied, “yeah, it’s because we don’t have it.” When he was then asked if something was still included, the response was an abrupt, “well, I don’t know with the attitude of why should he know, there was no offer to check or anything.
This is now the second time I’ve encountered the same staff member, and on both occasions their attitude and lack of basic customer service has been shocking. Honestly, they should not be in a customer-facing role. Very disappointing experience and it does put me off using this place again.
