I purchased an alternator and drive belt at GSF Heathrow after checking that my online order and part numbers were correct.
I fitted the alternator and - on checking the existing drive belt length found that the drive belt supplied was too short!
I returned the old alternator and received a surcharge refund. The incorrect belt was exchanged for the correct one (at an additional charge).
