I bought 2 outer CV joints. A good price, but..... one box had no grease, the circlip is weak and stretched out of shape going on the shaft, then more or less refused to pop inside the joint; we had to resort to poking it in with 2 tiny screwdrivers. Then found that the clip/band for the small end of the gaitor wasn't big enough so had to use a cable tie. Then to make things worse, the hub nut supplied is 1mm bigger than the original (36/35mm), so I had to go and buy a 2nd socket. Ran out of time in the day, so will be attempting the other side next week. Good service from the branch - parts were ready for collection at the stated time 😃.
