I'm very pleased with the last firearm I purchased from an auction on GunBrokers.com. A lot of sellers are asking too much for shipping so you got to do your homework & read all the information on every item before you purchase or place your bid. But the site itself is a great place to find nearly anything you're looking for. Like anything else, you got to be smart & patient. I was looking for an sks that had good working parts so I could put together a really nice-looking rifle. I have a few sks stocks so if it came with a rough stock was ok & I was able to get it on the low end. This thing came with a ton of cosmoline inside & out. Here are some before & after pictures. After breaking it apart & cleaning it up I dropped it in one of my sks stocks keeping the matching numbered stock for future reassembly after getting the time to freshen it up for its historical value. I found what appears to be 1935 carved on the inside so I'm not sure what that stands for since the first sks wasn't in production until 1945.
