I handed a precious item of jewellery to be repaired, this was given to me from a close passed on loved one. They did not repair it, they shortened the item so that I could no longer wear it. Even though I gave them photographic evidence of before and after, and not to mention how heartbreaking and distressing this is as it is recent passing of my loved one, the way they treated me felt callous and generic. All accountability was denied and I was brushed off with not even an offer of reimbursement for their evidential error. If I could give a "minus star", I would.
I wish I had gone to a smaller, family owned jewellers that treats their customers with care and concern, with regard to their reputation.
