Was seen by Toni today she is always very polite and helpful at Chorley H Samuel all the staff are friendly always with a lovely smile my husband shops alot at Christmas and birthdays they always look after him a big 5 star rating 😀

I went to the Metro Centre today because I needed a new everyday watch. Ethan helped me choose, without an pushyness, and sold me the one I wanted after altering the metal strap. I have always found this shop a pleasure to visit, even if just browsing.

Just ordered online using Paypal, and it took old details and just went straight to confirmation without letting me check the details it had pulled through. And now because its on paypal, the individual through virtual assistant has said i cant cancel or change the address. Have to talk to the courier and arrange for it to be sent back. Even tho i havent got any tracking details and it hasnt even been dispatched, and my payment is still pending on paypal. Note, paypal shows my new address as primary, all the address details have been updated on all my cards, so i dont even know why it pulled it through. Havent had any other issues using it over the past year. Just dont get why they cant cancel it....when it hasnt been even sent to dispatch yet. And now there is a risk that the courier could deliver it to my old address, which i dare say will mean i wont get it.

Dear H. Samuel Customer Service, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a recent purchase I made from your store. I ordered the Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Men’s 47mm Black Strap Smartwatch based on the product description provided on your website, which indicated that the watch features solar charging capabilities. The primary reason I chose this model was precisely because of the advertised solar functionality. However, upon receiving the item, I was extremely disappointed to discover that the watch does not, in fact, have solar charging – it is simply a digital smartwatch. This misrepresentation has not only caused confusion but also led me to purchase a product that does not meet my needs or expectations. I kindly request that you review the listing and clarify the product details to prevent future misunderstandings. Furthermore, I would appreciate it if you could advise me on how to proceed regarding a return or exchange, as I would not have purchased this item had the description been accurate. Given the misleading nature of the listing and the inconvenience caused, I am also requesting appropriate compensation for the trouble and time wasted due to this issue. I went to your Taunton shop last week.i had my ears redone as the holes had closed over .The man that done it was so helpfully He had first class customer service ..nothink was to much trouble. Shame your Cribb store was not the same which I went on the Saturday...young girls just talking between then self .How can you go to 2 of your shop and not be treated to a first class service .....if I had to give stars for cribb it would be 1 star

I am extremely disappointed with H. Samuel in Middlesbrough. I purchased my dream engagement ring in September 2023, and since then, it's been nothing but issues! The ring wasn't cheap, and my partner also took out insurance cover, yet we've had to send the ring for repairs twice already. The first repair took about 3-4 weeks, and now the second one has been dragging on for almost two months, which is absolutely shocking! The customer service is appalling — whenever we try to call, they have no answers and can't explain why the repair is taking so long. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when we're paying for a premium product and service. We should not have to chase them up every day for updates. The rings might look nice, but if you re considering buying an engagement ring and insurance, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The poor service has completely overshadowed what should have been a special purchase. Very disappointed

Walked into the store in Bridgend I asked this lady called Liza about taking one link off my watch,she called Leon who did it for me and said I didn't have to pay for it.She said Happy New year.which was kind off her.i was very happy .

Brought four pieces of jewellery for my birthday November 4th 2022. Six months later the jewellery started turning. I went to store to get them fixed using the insurance they sold me. They said the couldn’t help me unless I had the written copies. I have called the helpline many times as well as the chat lines. They always say they are going to call or email back and never do. Fast forward to 2025 . I was told the company that has my polices is domestic and general. They told me my policy is expired but as I’ve been contacting h Samuel prior to the insurance expiring they will try to escalate the matter so I can get the jewellery fixed. Please be aware when they tell you they will call back or email you proof it’s a lie. Apparently although I have several files and complaints I’m there is no record of me contacting prior to November 4th 2024 which I find hard to believe. I didn’t bombard them with emails and calls in the space of two months I have been doing this for monthssssss. Update today: Spoke to Jocelyn at the head office who told me my mental health medication could be the reason why my jewellery turned and that they couldn’t assist me either getting a refund or the jewellery fixed. I tried to tel her what meds I was on so she can find out if chemicals in my meds contributed to them turning. She refused. The funny thing is I only started my med in 2024. Perhaps there should be a disclaimer on H Samir site that states people suffering mental anguish should stay away from our products. Please note I have tried to get my policy number and they refused me twice in store and many times on the phone. Even when they finally told me who holds the policy they refused to give me Domestic and Generals details and told me to just google it. Which I did and domestic and generals told me the process of how to recover my details… Domestic and generals were very friendly and empathetic my problem was not with them. Jocelyn told me someone would call me back and that they would not be able to get me a solution. Because although there is a several records of me contacting they can’t find me, even with the policy number etc. Was I scammed out of £400.00 I don’t know you tell me. I do have a recording of my encounter with Jocelyn and I did alert her of me recording the convo as I’ve lost hope in this company keeping their word when they say they are going to call me back or contact me. Now I am left with two earrrings a chain and a hold ring I can’t wear :) thanks
